This is the layout template that is required to set up your card decks for printing. All submissions for printing should be in TIF format and 300dpi.
If you have a COMMON BACK, that is it is the same back for all the cards in your deck you will need only one card back template sheet. Label it something like MYGAME_COMMONBACK.TIF
For your card FACES, label them something like (54 card deck example)MYGAME_FACESHEET1.TIF, MYGAME_FACESHEET2.TIF, MYGAME_FACESHEET3.TIF
IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT OUR POD PLAYING CARD PRODUCTION
We have the most technologically advance system developed to produce custom POD decks. Even so, there are limitations with digital print on demand printing.
ü We can only guarantee registration to one side of the card, usually the FACE. “Drift” that can occur with Digital Printing is normally held to 1/64” or less on the BACK of the cards.
ü Full Bleeds on the BACK of the card work the best.
ü If you have a common bleed or a boarder around your card edge (Back or Face), that border should be 1/8” (0.125”) from the card edge (not bleed edge) for best results.
ü Never move or hide the black bar at the top of the template page.
ü Cards must be printed in increments of 18 cards – see template sheet
ü We can offer Tuck boxes in two standard sizes – 54 card deck and 72 card deck.
ü We can offer 54 page Perfect Bound Rule Books that are 2.5”x3.5” and will fit in the 72 card tuck box along with a 54 card deck.
ü We have POP (Point of Purchase) Display boxes available that will hold 6 decks each for either the 54 or 72 card tuck box sizes.
ü Printing on the tuck boxes and POP display boxes is full color and we print right on the box. We do not wrap sleeves around our boxes. This means you need artwork on front, back, 2 sides, to and bottom. We have templates available so your layout will match our dies.
