Plastic Coil Bound Books

Plastic Coil Bound Books
Three sizes to choose from:

8.5” x 11” (Letter Size)
6” x 9” (Trade Size
5.5” x 8.5” (Digest Size)

Plastic Coil Bound Books have an advantage over other types of book binding. The biggest being that they will lay completely flat when laid open. This makes them perfect for:

These are the most popular sizes but if you have a custom size you need please do not hesitate to ask us for it.

File Preparation for Coil Bound Books
Minimum number of pages is 8 pages
Maximum number of pages is 450

Unlike other types of books, Coil Bound Books have no spine. When preparing your front and back cover you will submit them as The first and last pages of your book respectively. The Front Cover being the first page and the back cover being the last page of your book. If your pages are full bleed, please be sure to add at least 0.25” bleed all the way around each cover. If your cover has white edges all the way around then they can be submitted without bleed.

For the book interior we like at least 0.5” margins on the bind edge of the book and at least 0.25” margins on the other three sides. As with the cover, if your pages are full bleed please add at least 0.25” bleed all the way around the page.

    Most booklets are printed full-color on both sides, particularly those that include color images. If your booklets don't contain color images or only have them on one side, you might consider a different option instead.

    Full-color printing provides the maximum impact and visual appeal for most booklets.
