Sherman Foote Denton (SF Denton for short) was an American artist, specimen collector, and
entrepreneur creating artwork and cataloging animals in the late 19th century and early 20th
century. One of his creations was a book with beautiful illustrations of the fish and game found in New York State. Our founder Jeff shares a similar love of fishing, and carefully created a deck of playing cards using the famous illustrations from SF Dentons book. Two versions of the cards are available for this deck, one with standard traditional faces, and one with the beautiful fish from SF Dentons book.
