Superior POD now offers Mylar "Booster Pack" packaging. Our Mylar packs will hold anywhere from 1 to 36 cards. This means we can now offer packaging for 12, 18, 27 and 36 card decks. Please bear in mind that these are not reusable packs like the tuck boxes. In fact, once sealed the only way to get these packs open is to cut them.... the bond where they are sealed is that strong and tamper proof. These are only available in white but include full color printing front and back in the form of a label that again, bonds with the packaging and cannot be removed once applied. Because of the printing labels these Mylar packs must be ordered in multiples of nine (9). The cost for these packs is $0.35 each fully printed. This is offered full color/full bleed like out tuck boxes. This will allow you
to merchandise your product better because of the size. Also, you can handily
fit a couple of 11x17 map sheets, and 8.5x 5.5 rule book and some game chits and
you have a complete board game in very attractive packaging. These boxes run
$1.10 each printed full color, full bleed.
We are also now offering a double wide tuck box that holds two 54 card decks
(108 cards) plus a rules sheet. These boxes run $0.85 each printed full color,
full bleed.

Digital print on demand allows you to print only what you need, when you need it. Because it is printed in smaller quantities and on-demand, it is always current, never obsolete. An InfoTrend study done in 2003 showed that, on average, 12.6% of all printed material, nationwide, sitting on pallets in warehouses becomes obsolete and must be thrown away before the first piece is ever used. A study by Xerox back in 2002 showed that, on average, businesses will spend $4 in usage, storage, obsolescence and shipping of printed material for every $1 actually spent in printing the material in the first place.

- In the digital world, books have become more important, not less, mainly because of customization. It used to be that to get good per unit prices for books, you would have to order in the many thousands. That meant that the book had to be static, unchanging, for a long period of time. Now, with Print-On-Demand, you can print a mere hundred books, then change the contents and reissue the book again with updated information. If there is an error, correct it. If there is new information, add it. If there's a better way, describe it. If the story has been added to, include it. Then, print another hundred and repeat the process.
